Visualising (your) queer biographies: A creative get-together

We invite you to a creative afternoon of visualising your personal, queer (or queer-questioning) biography using cognitive mapping. Guided by prompts from our team member Kaja, you’ll explore your story through lines, shapes and colours — no artistic skills needed. This workshop is part of our programme “Gaps, leaps, fractures. Queer Temporalities.”

If you had to visualise your life story, what would it look like? What moments or milestones (do we even like that word?) would you include? What shape would it take? And what colour? What images, words, memories would be part of it?

We invite you to an afternoon of mapping out your personal, queer (or queer-questioning) biography through lines, shapes and colours. We will be using a technique called cognitive mapping. Throughout the session, our team member Kaja will guide you with prompts, while leaving lots of space for your own experiences and creativity.

No artistic skills or experience are needed. This afternoon is not about making something perfect, but about sharing, reflecting and being creative together.

This workshop is part of our programme “Gaps, leaps, fractures. Queer Temporalities”.
