New Year Special P*rn Screening by P*rn Film Festival Vienna & QUEER MUSEUM VIENNA is showing a special selection of queer, diverse and erotic films in cooperation with the Porn Film Festival.

Cinema is rarely as multifaceted as in its political dimensions. We understand that eroticism and intimacy mean more than just bare skin. The selection of films at the festival reflects this conviction and is as diverse as the world itself.

Last year, the P/rn Film Festival Vienna presented a wide range of productions, from small indie productions to elaborate large-scale projects. Each film has its own meaning and conveys a unique message.

Unfortunately, filmmakers in many countries often still work under difficult conditions, from legal problems and threats of punishment to a lack of financial support. This is precisely why it is all the more important to show and honor their work.

We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to draw attention, with some of our selection, to these special contributions as part of the New Year Special P/rn Screening, which is being held in collaboration with the QUEER MUSEUM VIENNA. It is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of cinema and the creativity of filmmakers from different regions while highlighting the challenges some of them face. Welcome to a cinematic journey that broadens our perspectives and makes us think.
