QMV Matinee Club

The QMV Matinee Club introduces players from the queer club scene in Vienna in an early evening format (from 6pm to 2pm). Every evening 2 local DJs play, who not only sound the halls of the VKM, but also tell an insight into their way into the club culture. These short interviews will be here to read and download.

In this way, QMV tries to expand the concept of museum and recognise club culture as such. Especially for queer people, clubs are not only places to party but also important safe spaces for (performative) art and self-expression.”

instead Kevin Clash will dj at the opening of the upcoming exhibition “Historisiert euch!” on the 23.6. 6pm
