Balcony Concert
Saturday, 23rd of May from 15:00 to 21:00
With urbie. ÆNGL x who.i.why
At balcony air, the balcony of the former administration building in the Otto Wagner Areal will become a stage on Saturday, May 23, and Saturday, June 6:
Artists will perform solo or in small groups on the balcony overlooking the lawn, where you can spread out, relax, listen, and just be. Starting at 3 p.m., AJ the DJ will kick off a vinyl-only warm-up set—somewhere between soul, R&B, and house. Starting at 5 p.m., two live acts will perform—with short artist talks and a supporting program in between:
The Queer Museum Vienna is presenting the exhibition “Queer Utopia” at the same time and will be open extra late for you—as will the Artist in Residence program at FRISEUR Salo(o)n, serving as an open studio and exhibition space. At Otto & Camillo and the Queer Museum, you’ll be well taken care of with snacks and drinks—but there’s absolutely no pressure to buy anything!
The event is accessible & features “respectful vibes only!” with FLINTA artists, the queer community, art, and music.
