Forum Queer Ecologies
Thursday, 21st of May from 18:00 to 19:30
THIS EVENT TAKES PLACE AT KUNSTHAUSWIEN, Address below
The forum offers an opportunity for open discussion and shared reflection on the themes explored in the exhibition. By contributing their own interests and experiences, participants shape the direction of the conversation.
The exhibition I Wish We Had More Time challenges human-centred perspectives on nature and moves beyond binary and heteronormative ways of looking at the world. Nature is diverse, mutable, and fluid. Multispecies communities reveal complex interrelations within the environment, particularly when such relations are thrown out of balance. How can we navigate disruptions in society, ecology, and in our personal life stories? How might we develop shared strategies for survival? Do we need new forms of symbiosis? These and other questions are addressed collectively within the exhibition space.
